App support

Tanggu Word Study is an offline vocabulary-learning app with daily 20-word sessions, pronunciation, favorites, and missed-word review. If you need help, email studiososim@gmail.com.

1. Information stored on the device

The selected learning level, daily word set, study progress, answer counts, favorites, missed words, sound setting, and word-list position are stored locally on the device. They are used only to provide and continue the app's learning features.

2. Information we do not collect

The current version has no registration, login, online account, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, advertising, or in-app purchases. Studio Sosim does not receive or store a name, email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, precise location, advertising identifier, study history, or device-local settings from the app.

3. Network use and pronunciation

The vocabulary data, meanings, images, interface, and learning functions are bundled with the app and work without an internet connection. English pronunciation uses a system voice installed on the device, so offline pronunciation can be limited when an English voice is unavailable. Opening this privacy page, a source page, a license page on the web, or an email link requires a network connection and is performed only after the user selects the link.

4. Retention and deletion

Local learning data remains on the device until the user resets all study progress, clears the app's stored data, or removes the app. Device backups may retain a copy according to the user's operating-system and backup settings. Studio Sosim cannot remotely view, restore, or delete this local data because it is not held on a Studio Sosim server.

5. Tracking, sales, and sharing

The app does not track users across other companies' apps or websites. Studio Sosim does not sell or share personal information from the app. The public policy website is hosted with GitHub Pages; GitHub may process ordinary web request information under its own privacy statement when the page is visited.

6. Children and security

The app does not ask children or other users to submit contact or account information. Parents or guardians should supervise device use where appropriate. Data processing is minimized by keeping learning records on the device.

7. Dictionaries, graphics, licenses, and contact

The app contains open-licensed dictionary materials. Source, attribution, modification, share-alike, Godot Engine, font, and asset notices are provided in the app's Open Licenses and Sources screen. Tanggu is an original Studio Sosim character. Some graphics were generated or refined with AI-assisted tools using Studio Sosim-provided references, then selected and edited by Studio Sosim.
